The Black Croc Ale Company is a vast conglomerate that stretches across the known world. While the origins of the Company are shrouded in legends and hearsay, the sign of the Black Croc can be found in almost all corners of creation. Every inn worth staying in sells their ale, as does every tavern worth drinking in, and all roadside establishments need product. Often simply called The Company, the faction deals in foodstuffs but has been known to operate construction companies, shipwrights, and a wide variety of infrastructure businesses, all of which amount to shell companies providing access and influence.

As an Agent, you might have worked as a distributor, making deals as you traveled, or you might have worked security, insuring shipments arrived intact and on time. Or, perhaps you worked on a ship dedicated to transporting Company goods. Regardless, you are well-liked in countless establishments and always seem able to find a companion. One truth is known on every far-flung shore: Agents of Black Croc look out for their own, period. The mark of the Black Croc on a uniform is the mark of a fast friend. Being a part of the BCAC is knowing that you are trusted to handle yourself in any situation, while at the same time guaranteeing that if you cannot, there is a legion behind you that will come to your aid.

Goals: Travel far and wide gathering friends and allies wherever one goes to spread the influence of the Company. Agents of Black Croc serve justice, even when that ideal does not match the law of the land. A good agent always looks out for their own.

These are almost always great central locations to meet potential patrons, allies, or clients. You can gain access to some specific contacts through The Company if you are a member in good standing. Such connections are not automatic, though. They always require some sort of favor performed for those facilitating the introduction.

The Company often wields tremendous legal influence. If you are accused of a crime, The Company will support you if a good case can be made for your innocence or if the crime is justifiable.
